Milagro Gramz Appeals $75k Megan Thee Stallion Judgment!

Milagro Gramz is appealing Megan Thee Stallion’s $75,000 defamation judgment after a Miami federal judge refused to stop the rapper from pursuing payment during the legal challenge.

Gramz, whose legal name is Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, filed an amended notice of appeal on June 30, according to AllHipHop. The filing expands her earlier appeal to cover the amended judgment entered in May and the ruling that restored Megan’s defamation victory.

The appeal itself does not freeze collection, but Gramz had separately asked the court to pause enforcement, arguing that she could not immediately pay the judgment or secure the usual appeal bond.

“I do not possess substantial liquid assets and do not have the financial resources necessary to immediately satisfy the judgment,” she wrote in a sworn statement.

A standard bond in the Miami court would equal 110 percent of the judgment, putting Gramz’s required guarantee at $82,500. Chief Judge Cecilia Altonaga declined to waive or reduce that amount, saying Gramz initially failed to provide enough evidence of her finances.

The judge also found that Gramz had offered only “generalized disagreement” with the verdict and post-trial decisions rather than demonstrating that her appeal was likely to succeed.

Megan secured the restored $75,000 award in May after the court reversed an earlier reduction to $59,000.
