Mike Tyson has shut down rumors that he has Parkinson’s after Jake Paul made the allegations on a recent livestream with Adin Ross.
Paul and Tyson were due to square up earlier last year, but the fight was delayed for months due to health concerns on Tyson’s side.
Paul says that toad venom “cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so he could come back and fight,” alluding to the progressive neurodegenerative disorder being responsible for his health issues.
Paul claims that Tyson smoked the toad venom, which cured his Parkinson’s disease, but speaking to TMZ, the legendary boxer denied the allegations.
Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the fuck is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke. Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do. https://t.co/RQkvsDFnpw

“Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness,” Tyson’s team told the outlet.
Parkinson’s is caused by the cells of the neurotransmitter Dopamine ceasing to work or dying. Dopamine sends messages between nerve cells or between nerve cells and muscle cells to help the body function and is crucial for both physical and mental bodily functions.
After his comments went viral, Jake Paul walked back on his comments.
“Bruh… Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinson’s… WTF. Why the f— is the internet so stupid for. I misspoke,” he wrote, adding, “Meant he used toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”
