Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino still owes the IRS $2.3 million in unpaid taxes.
The Situation served time in federal prison for tax evasion in 2019. The Sun got ahold of documents that show that he owes taxes from 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016.
“Michael Sorrentino has been working diligently to comply with his current and past tax obligations, and he will continue to do so,” Sorrentino’s publicist said in a statement.
He served his sentence at the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in upstate New York in January 2019 and was released that September.
“We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life. Thank you to our family, friends and fans for the continuous love and support during this time. It brought us so much peace and comfort,” he told Page Six at the time. “We look forward to continuing our life as husband and wife and working on baby situations!”
