Mike Pence threw some shade Donald Trump’s way over his tweets which led to the Capitol Hill riots on Jan, 6th last year.
“Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should’ve been done to protect our Country and our Constitution,” Trump tweeted at the time.
Mike said the tweet made him angry.
“It angered me, but I turned to my daughter who was standing nearby, and I said, ‘It doesn’t take courage to break the law. It takes courage to uphold the law,'” he said. “The president’s words were reckless. It’s clear he decided to be part of the problem.”
Pence is promoting his memoir “So Help Me God” which is out this week. He added: “I don’t know that our movement is that divided. I don’t know that the president and I differ on issues. But we may differ on focus. I truly do believe that elections are about the future,” he said.
