Ashley’s estranged husband Michael Darby is reportedly suing Candiace Dillard for defamation after Candiace said Michael gave another man fellatio.
In an episode of the show that aired back in November 2022, Candiace said Michael allegedy “likes to leave [Ashley] and go to a man named [censored] ‘s house and suck his d-ck.”
Michael allegedly sent Candiace a cease-and-desist letter months back but she has not retracted her statement so he is now suing for $2 million in damages.
Michael was suspended from filming in 2018 after accusations surfaced that he groped a cameraman. The charges were later dropped. The following year, several castmates accused Michael of grabbing a producer’s backside, which he denied.
“The case was dismissed due to insufficient evidence,” said Ramon Korionoff, a spokesman for the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office. “The complaining witness states there were no witnesses who actually saw the incident.”
In Maryland, people can file for criminal charges for certain kinds of offenses but authorities did not deem it necessary in this instance.
