Michael B. Jordan and RAYE are not dating, despite a cozy Six Flags outing that had fans wondering if Hollywood had a new couple.
Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that the two are simply friends who have been spending time together because RAYE is working on the soundtrack for a movie project involving Jordan.
The pair recently stepped away from work for a visit to Six Flags Magic Mountain outside Los Angeles, where they were spotted laughing and chatting while waiting for a roller coaster.
A viral TikTok of the outing quickly sparked romance rumors, especially after another image showed Jordan and RAYE seated next to each other on a ride.
But sources told the outlet the two have “never been on a date” and that there has never been anything romantic between them.
The exact film RAYE is contributing music to has not been revealed.
Jordan has no shortage of possibilities on his schedule. The actor is attached to several upcoming projects, including The Thomas Crown Affair, Rainbow Six and Miami Vice ’85, which is expected to costar Austin Butler.
His production company, Outlier Society, is also developing I Am Legend 2, Creed 4 and Methuselah.
RAYE is busy, too. The singer is set to join Bruno Mars as a special guest on his upcoming The Romantic Tour.
