Metro Boomin has issued a statement via his attorney, denying a recent lawsuit filed against him accusing him of sexual assault.

“This is a pure shakedown,” Metro’s attorney Lawrence Hinkle II told TMZ. “These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails.”

A woman named Vanessa LeMaistre alleges that Metro, real name Leland Wayne, r-ped her at his studio in 2016 after first meeting in Las Vegas.

She claims that during one visit to his Los Angeles studio, she was “immediately given a shot of alcohol. She also ingested half of a Xanax bar, which she used to cope with her anxiety after her son’s loss,” and passed out on a couch.

When she woke, LaMaistre claimed she could not move or make a sound as the producer had intercourse with her without her consent. Several weeks later, she discovered she was pregnant.

LeMaistre also claims the rapper mentioned the attack in the 21 Savage song, “Rap Saved Me,” released back in 2017.

“She took a Xanny, then she fainted/ I’m from the gutter, ain’t no changing/ From the gutter, rap saved me/ She drive me crazy, have my baby.”
