Tamar Braxton is speaking out after weeks of online backlash tied to rumors involving Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith.
The singer had been dragged into controversy after blogger Funky Dineva alleged she was romantically involved with Mendeecees, prompting social media users to label her a “homewrecker.” Tamar firmly denied the claims.
That changed on Boxing Day when Mendeecees addressed the speculation during an interview on Yung Joc & The Streetz Morning Takeover.
While he denied any involvement with Tamar, he revealed that his relationship with Smith had already ended and that they were never legally married.
“We was never legally married, so we’re not getting a divorce,” he said, explaining they had been separated for more than a year.
Mendeecees described the televised wedding storyline as “for entertainment purposes only,” saying it helped protect assets during legal issues.

Tamar took to Instagram Stories announcing she was “accepting all apologies” and posted her Cash App handle alongside a tongue-in-cheek list pricing out the insults thrown her way. Tmar has maintained the rumors were “hurtful and completely untrue,” noting that public speculation affects more than just celebrities.
