Donald Trump is facing several indictments and according to a new report, she reportedly renegotiated her prenuptial agreement with him ahead of his potential second term.
Page Six reports that the updated terms involve finances and property and seek to increase a trust fund set up for their, 17-year-old Barron.
“Over the last year, Melania and her team have been quietly negotiating a new ‘postnup’ agreement between herself and Donald Trump,” a source told the outlet.
“This is at least the third time Melania has renegotiated the terms of her martial agreement. Melania is most concerned about maintaining and increasing a substantial trust for their son, Barron.”
According to the source, Melania has no plans to leave Trump.
In June, Trump appeared in a Miami courtroom and pleaded “not guilty” to 37 federal counts stemming from his handling of classified documents.
“Today we witnessed the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country. Very sad thing to watch, a corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges of which he and numerous other presidents would be guilty, right in the middle of a presidential election in which he’s losing very badly,” Trump said.
