Megyn Kelly thinks Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are moving way too fast with daughter North West’s rising entertainment career.
The host criticized the couple on a recent episode of her show, asking why North, 13, is already releasing music, performing live, and building a public image.
“This girl…is launching an album, she’s going to be performing concerts, and they are rushing to try to make her a star,” Kelly said during a conversation with Dr. Drew Pinsky.
Kelly compared North’s schedule to that of her own similarly aged son, saying, “My son is riding his bike, playing tennis, and playing something called bucket golf with his buddies in the backyard.”
North has had a busy year. She released the six-song EP “N0rth4evr” in May, performed a solo festival set in June and followed with the “Aishite” music video in August.
But North has stated that he decision to eneter the industry has been completely her choice.
“To start my career later” was the worst advice she has received, she told Dazed. “This is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life.”
