Megan Thee Stallion has broken her silence about her new boyfriend, Klay Thompson, during their red-carpet debut at the inaugural gala for her Pete & Thomas Foundation in New York City last night.
“I have never dated somebody so kind,” the rapper told Page Six. “This is my first relationship where I’ve ever been with somebody who’s genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.”
She continued, “I just never dated somebody like him before and I’m just grateful that he’s here by my side and he feels the same way about me.”
The pair were first spotted out on vacation together last week and appear to have been inseparable ever since.
Thompson, who most recently suited up as a guard for the Dallas Mavericks, just wrapped up his debut season with the squad, and he definitely made his presence felt. Putting up a smooth 14 points per game, grabbing 3.4 boards, and dishing out 2 assists on average, the former high draft pick showed flashes of his two-way potential while adjusting to the Mavs’ system.
Klay is rumored to have a net wroth of $300 million.
