Megan Thee Stallion received a standing ovation and fought back tears as she closed out her appearance in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Saturday night.
The Grammy winner, 31, finished her run as Zidler and became emotional during the curtain call as fellow performers surrounded her onstage. In a clip shared online, audience members cheered loudly while one person shouted, “We love you!”
Megan eventually smiled and bowed to the crowd.
The moving finale came hours after Megan Thee Stallion publicly announced her breakup from Klay Thompson.

“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” she said in a statement. “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship.” She continued, “When those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”
Earlier in the day, Megan shared stronger words on Instagram Stories, writing, “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.’”
She also wrote, “B—h I need a REAL break after this one .. bye yall.”
Megan and Thompson were first linked last year before later stepping out publicly together at her Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala.
