Megan Thee Stallion wrote a letter last week to the judge who will be sentencing Tory Lanez …Megan wants Lanez to be handled with no mercy.
“He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma,” Megan wrote, per journalist Meghann Cuniff. “He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul.
She continued, “He lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media. He released music videos and songs to damage my character and continue his crusade.”
Lanez faces up to 22 years and 8 months in prison. A new California law would make Lanez’s sentence come in the “middle term” of the potential 22-year sentence, unless “circumstances in aggravation” were proven.
He has always claimed innocence. In an audio recording posted to Instagram Lanez alleged that he “was completely robbed and deprived of a fair trial” and that he watched prosecutors “unlawfully misuse their authority to hide and suppress any and all exculpatory evidence that exonerates me and furthers my innocence.”
