Drake caused quite a stir yesterday, when he dropped a new Meg The Stallion diss track called Circo Loco, where he blasted the female hip hop artist for allegedly lying about getting shot by fellow rapper Tory Lanez.
Media Take Out confirmed that Drake’s song Circo Loco is the most streamed song on both Apple Music and Spotify over the past 24 hours.
And he can thank Meg Thee Stallion and her legion of followers for helping to propel the track to the top of the streaming charts.
As we reported, just minutes after the track dropped, Meg took to social media and criticized Drake for calling her a “liar” on his track.
But her plan backfired. By bringing notoriety to the track, Meg caused millions of people, who otherwise wouldn’t have paid attention to Drake’s album – to download the track and listen to it.
We spoke with insiders at both Apple Music and Spotify who confirmed to Media Take Out that Drake/21 Savage’s Circo Loco is “the most streamed song of the past 24 hours.”
And the numbers don’t appear to be slacking off:
