The prosecution finally scored a victory, in the case against Tory Lanez and his alleged shooting of Meg Thee Stallion. Up until now, the case has been going down QUICK.

On Thursday, Tory’s legal team made a possibly fatal error in questioning Meg’s best friend Kelsey, and they inadvertently opened up the door for the jury to hear her full interview with the prosecutors.

As Media Take Out reported on Thursday, Meg’s friend claimed that she lied when speaking to prosecutors to “protect herself.” She also invoked her Fifth Amendment rights, and said that she was worried that she may say something on the stand which could incriminate her.

Unfortunately for Tory, during their cross examination – they suggested that Kelsey may have been “pressured” by prosecutors to lie during their interview.

The prosecution subsequently asked the judge to allow Kelsey’s full interview to be heard by the jury, which is typically not allowed in a trial like this. The prosecution argued that since Tory’s lawyers are claiming that Kelsey was “pressured”, the jury should hear the interview so that they can determine whether that was, in fact, true.

The judge allowed Kelsey’s interview to be played for the jury, and it was pretty damning. In the interview, Kelsey corroborated just about everything that Meg said in her testimony. And Kelsey said that she did – in fact – see Tory shoot Meg.

It’s not clear how much impact the statement – by an admitted liar Kelsey – will have on the jury. But it’s not good for Tory.
