Filming for the eight season of Real Housewives Of Potomac is underway and Media Take Out confirmed that a new lady has joined the cast. TV lawyer Nneka Ihim is set to join the housewives franchise, and we can confirm that she’s already done a good amount of filming.
Nneka, a Boston-born Nigerian American, is an employment lawyer who also works as a political correspondent for CNN.
A graduate of both the University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin Law School, she is also the daughter of well-known interventional cardiologist and philanthropist Leo Egbujiobi.
Nneka lives in the Potomac area and is married to Dr. Ikenna Ihim, a medical doctor and night lounge investor.
Ashley Darby hosted a housewarming party over the weekend that was also the first all-cast event for RHOP Season 8 and newbie Nneka was in attendance, and Nneka was filming at the event.
Media Take Out is not clear whether she’s gearing up for a “housewife” role, or merely a “friend” role. Typically production makes those decisions after they see how well she does on camera but her addition to the cast should be interesting.
