New Cast Of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Bravo just announced the new cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Media Take Out has the details and tea on all of them.

First off, here’s the behind the scenes drama. Porsha Williams is the official “star” of the show. We’re told that – as part of her deal as the “main” housewife – she has final say in which housewives will return.

We’re told that Porsha pushed HARD for Sheree Whitfield to be cut from the cast, especially after she posted a photo with her and Porsha’s ex Simon.

It’s definitely sad to see Sheree go – but unfortunately she will not be joining the Housewives this upcoming season. We’re sure that she’ll end up on another reality show, as she’s a hot commodity in the reality show world.

Now for the returning cast members: Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora will be returning, that’s it.

Porsha’s best friend Shamea Morton Mwangi will join the cast, officially getting her own peach:

Cynthia Bailey, who has grown closer to Porsha during her divorce, will also join, as a friend to the show:

And there will be three new Housewives this upcoming season.

First there’s Angela Oakley, a beautiful and smart Atlanta real estate professional. She’s quit witted and can throw shade with the best of them. She’s also the wife to former NY Knicks star Charles Oakley.

Brit Eady, a beautiful and talented Atlanta entrepreneur with multiple businesses. She is a successful real estate broker in Atlanta, and is the former girlfriend of rapper Rick Ross.

And the last new peach holder is restaurateur and Food Network alum Kelli Ferrell. She owns the popular restaurant Nana’s Chicken and Waffles.
