A representative for Meagan Good has responded to a report claiming that she had split from her actor boyfriend, Jonathan Majors.
TMZ reported that the couple’s relationship had ended abruptly, but the rep says the couple is still going strong.
“They are not broken up. In fact, they will be attending the Ebony 100 Gala together,” Meg’s rep told the outlet.
Jonathan first began dating Meagan after his arrest for assaulting his blond dancer girlfriend. Meagan showed up at the trial to support the Marvel star but many fans believe their relationship is a publicity stunt to ensure that the actor is able to revive his Hollywood career.
Meagan has had a great year, starring in Tyler Perry’s top-charting Netflix movie, Divorce in the Black, and the Lifetime movie Terry McMillan Presents: Forever.
In a recent interview with Raven Symone, she admitted that being pretty has held back her career.
“I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked into something and I had an audition, and they were like, ‘She was great, but we just don’t realistically believe her as this character because she’s a pretty girl,'” Meagan said.
