Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, was reportedly left shaken after a man allegedly approached him aggressively near the Sandringham estate earlier this week.
According to RadarOnline.com, the incident took place May 6 near Wolferton, Norfolk, where Andrew now resides under privately funded security arrangements supported by King Charles III after being booted from Windsor’s Royal Lodge following the Epstein fallout.
Reports claim the former royal had been walking his dogs before heading back toward his vehicle on a country lane when a masked individual allegedly exited a nearby car and ran toward him while shouting threats.
A source familiar with the situation told the outlet, “Andrew was extremely disturbed by what happened. The man was reportedly screaming while running directly toward him.”

Authorities later arrested a suspect at the scene. Police reportedly said the matter is not currently being treated as terrorism-related.
The incident has reportedly reignited concerns surrounding Andrew’s security after he lost state-funded police protection in 2022 following his withdrawal from public royal duties.
“There is now real nervousness around Andrew’s vulnerability,” another source claimed. “He no longer has the same security apparatus that once surrounded him.”
According to reports, the suspect allegedly emerged from a vehicle parked roughly 50 yards away before pursuing Andrew on foot as the duke’s car drove off.
