Mase is looking incredible after shedding more than 70lbs but the rapper denies that his huge weight loss is down to diabetes medication, Ozempic.
“You took the needle,” Cam asked on the pair’s It Is What It Is podcast.
“Nah,” Mase responded, adding, “That’s the hate I want. That’s the hate I needed. I signed up with this coach named Ricky Moore, that’s a professional bodybuilder, and he just put me on the alkaline diet. I’m only eating fruit, vegetables, and water for now.”
Ozempic is commonly used to help lower blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes and can be used to lower the risk of cardiovascular events (heart attack, stroke, or death) in people who have type 2 diabetes and heart disease, according to WebMD. Ozempic may also be used for other conditions as determined by your healthcare provider, including weight loss.
Ice Spice is another rapper who recently shut down reports of Ozempic usage, saying she also changed her diet and has been working out in the gym.
