Mase reacted to the news that Diddy’s homes in L.A. and Miami were raided by the feds.
“Reparations is getting closer and closer,” Murda Mase when asked whether he’d seen the drama play out. “I’ll be sure to give you your percentage,” he said to Cam.
“I have nothing to do with that money, that’s all yours man,” Cam replied. “Big payback,” Mase said.
Mase has called Diddy out in the past several times for screwing him out of his publishing. He eventually received his publishing back but he and Diddy are not on good terms.
Mase claimed he offered Combs $2 million for the publishing rights to his songs but was denied and that Diddy had “been extremely unfair.”
“Your past business practices knowingly has continued purposely starved your artist and been extremely unfair to the very same artist that helped u obtain that Icon Award on the iconic Badboy label,” Mase wroteon Instagram. “For example, u still got my publishing from 24 years ago in which u gave me $20k. Which makes me never want to work w/ u as any artist wouldn’t… This is not Black excellence at all.”
After giving back his publishing last year, Diddy said:
“Everything’s cool and good now,” he told Billboard. “You know, we’re brothers and brothers fight. I love him and that’s it.”
