‘Married to Medicine’s Quad Webb Says Cecil Whitmore Should Be More Supportive of Simone

Lyndon Abioye |

Quad Webb is weighing in on the tension playing out between Simone Whitmore and her husband, Cecil Whitmore, on the current season of Married to Medicine.

After Sunday’s episode showed Simone opening up about feeling overwhelmed at home, Quad shared her opinions during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

When asked about Simone’s marriage, Quad acknowledged the sensitivity of the topic.

“I love Cecil, everyone knows that. That’s my brother,” Quad Webb said. “But I do feel like he should be more supportive of Simone.”

Quad pointed to ongoing disagreements over finances and parenting as a major source of stress. This season, Simone has expressed frustration over continuing to financially support her adult sons while also feeling ready to slow down professionally. Cecil has leaned toward continuing that support, a stance Quad believes leaves Simone isolated.

“He should be a united front with her when it comes to the boys,” she said. “I couldn’t imagine being the odd man out all the time.”

Quad praised Simone as a devoted parent, adding, “Simone is an amazing mother. She’s made necessary sacrifices for her family.”

“When we do so much for our families, sometimes people become entitled,” Quad went on.

Simone has already taken steps to reduce her workload, including stepping away from obstetrics. Still, Quad believes more change is needed at home. “I think that Cecil should definitely lend more support to her,” she said.

Married to Medicine airs Sundays on Bravo.
