Quad Webb’s ex-boyfriend Kirk King is speaking out after Quad discussed their breakup in a recent interview.
The latest drama began after the Married to Medicine star appeared on an interview with Carlos King and reflected on the end of her relationship with King.
During the interview, Quad suggested the split was mutual and said she is focused on moving forward.
King quickly disputed her version of events in the comments section of a viral clip from the interview.
“Stop lying !!!” he wrote.
King went on to claim that he ended the relationship himself and accused Quad of trying to control the narrative publicly.
“I asked to end the relationship and haven’t had a need to contact you!” he wrote. “Stop trying to make yourself look good!!!!!!”
He went on, “These curated interviews and PR stunts are laughable,” King added. “You have them in a controlled environment with your friends!”
King made it clear that he does not believe the breakup was friendly.
“& no it wasn’t mutual or amicable,” he wrote. “That was another performance & PR stunt.”
Quad first confirmed the breakup at the recent Married to Medicine reunion, saying she did not believe King needed to appear on the show after Toya Bush-Harris revealed that he wanted to attend to share his side of the story.
