Questions about the future of Margaret Josephs on The Real Housewives of New Jersey continue as casting plans for the next season take shape.

While several cast members have reportedly secured their return, Margaret’s status remains uncertain, and according to a source familiar with the situation, the reality star has been clear about the conditions under which she would consider filming again, per Reality Blurb.

“She doesn’t want to film with people she doesn’t feel wish her family well,” the insider said. “She’s been very vocal about that.”

The hesitation follows ongoing tension from previous seasons, including disagreements involving Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas. The source says Margaret has not changed her mind since those conflicts played out on screen.

At the same time, she remains a fan favorite with a strong presence on the series.

“She’s a dynamic personality,” the insider said. “But she’s not willing to compromise her personal values.”

Off camera, the source added that Margaret has been focusing on her personal life and enjoying time away from filming.

“She’s in a good place,” they shared. “Whatever’s meant to be will be.”

Bravo has not confirmed the full cast lineup as discussions about the next season continue.
