Marcellus Wiley has handed his gun over to Los Angeles police while he and estranged wife Annemarie Wiley work through custody arrangements for their three children.
Court records obtained by Us Weekly show that Marcellus surrendered his Glock 9mm at 6:25 p.m. on Monday, July 27. The 51-year-old former NFL player also stated that he owns no additional firearms or ammunition.
Marcellus previously said the weapon had been kept in the marital bedroom and that Annemarie’s temporary restraining order prevented him from returning to the home to collect it.
The estranged spouses have now reached a temporary visitation agreement involving Marcellus Jr., 10, Ariya, 7, and Alivia, 6.
Under the plan, which begins August 1, Marcellus will have the children Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. He will also see them Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The agreement is scheduled to expire September 2.
Marcellus may collect the children from camp during the week. On Saturdays, he can pick them up from the family residence but must “stay in his car for exchanges at the residence.”
The temporary restraining order remains in effect. Marcellus must stay at least 100 yards away from Annemarie, 42, and cannot take the children outside Los Angeles County.
