Months after claiming Tristan Thompson is a deadbeat dad, Maralee Nichols confirmed the baller has been paying her child support.
An attorney for Thompson informed Page Six that the NBA free agent “is paying, and has paid, child support to Ms. Nichols retroactive to the date she delivered the child.”
Their son Theo was born in December. Tristan initially denied fathering Maralee’s son until a DNA test proved he was the daddy.
“Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” he wrote in a statement in January. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.”
He added, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.”
Tristan recently welcomed a son with Khloe Kardashian via surrogate. Reports state that Khloe wants sole custody of their son.
