Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are set to face each other again later this year, more than a decade after their blockbuster first fight. The announcement follows Mayweather’s recent decision to come out of retirement and continue boxing professionally beyond his upcoming exhibition with Mike Tyson.

Pacquiao, who returned to the ring in 2025, welcomed the rematch with confidence.

“Floyd and I gave the world what remains the biggest fight in boxing history,” he said in a statement. “The fans have waited long enough. They deserve this rematch, and it will be even bigger now that it will be streamed live globally on Netflix.”

The bout is scheduled for April 18 at The Sphere in Las Vegas and will stream worldwide on Netflix, marking the platform’s first professional boxing event.

Their original meeting in 2015 ended with Mayweather winning by unanimous decision in a fight that shattered revenue records and became a cultural moment.

Pacquiao has not forgotten that night. “I want Floyd to live with the one loss on his professional record,” he added, making his intentions clear.
