Streamer Sneako is facing major backlash after declaring that Islam would take over New York City while invoking Mayor Zohran Mamdani during a crowded World Cup celebration.
Sneako, whose real name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, was broadcasting on Kick Friday night as Egypt fans celebrated the national team’s victory over Australia. Surrounded by drums, horns and waving Egyptian flags, he shouted, “Allahu Akbar!” before delivering a series of inflammatory remarks.
“This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan,” he said. “Islam will be in every household. Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim.”
The streamer then referenced Mamdani, New York City’s first Muslim mayor.
“Welcome to Mamdani’s New York,” Sneako told viewers. “You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this too.”

Clips from the livestream quickly spread across Instagram and X, drawing tens of millions of views and a wave of criticism.
Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones responded, “Deport him NOW!!!” Elon Musk later replied, “Yes.”
Sneako then clapped back at Musk on Monday, writing, “Go back to Africa,” before adding, “This is my country.” Musk was born in South Africa.
The streamer, who reportedly converted to Islam in 2023, appeared to address the controversy Sunday with another post: “Every knee will bow. Every tongue confess.”
Sneako has built an online following of more than 1 million and has previously had the support of several far-right influencers.
The same "right wing" who spent a decade calling people snowflakes over censorship are now begging a trillionaire migrant to deport Americans for using said free speech.
