Former president Barack Obama attended Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday but was booed by the MAGA crowd.
As Obama walked into the Capitol One Arena’s Rotunda at the US Capitol, loud boos filled the venue, but he continued walking and was seemingly unbothered.
Supporters praised Obama for acting with class in such a hostile moment.
“President Obama still has the coolest walk in Presidential history!” one viewer wrote.
“We all knew that this day was going to have some classless overtones to it. I hope Nelly and Snoop were clapping for him and not booing against him. President Obama is still [fire emoji] and will always be[fire emoji],” another added.
A third viewer commented, “Such a strong, intelligent man of integrity, respect and servitude. His confident in who he is speaks volumes. He’s above those booing that don’t know what or who they really are. Bravo to President Barack Obama!!”
Bill and Hillary Clinton also walked out to loud boos.
