‘MAFS Australia’ Alum Timothy Smith Says Diddy Isn’t Getting VIP Treament In Jail

Timothy Smith, a former contestant on Married At First Sight Australia, says that even though Sean “Diddy” Combs is a wealthy man, he won’t be treated like a VIP at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Smith served time in a U.S. federal prison and spilled the tea on what day-to-day life could be like for the mogul and what special treatment he could be receiving.

“In the federal system, it’s so limited, you don’t get extra privileges because you’re rich. You’re allowed a few basics like a tracksuit and sneakers from the commissary, but that’s about it. They do raids and if you try to stockpile, they take everything,” he told Daily Mail.

He says that Diddy has no inmates because he is currently being housed in the management unit and that he has no access to television or even a radio in there. Diddy will reportedly have access to the bible and one book per week.

“You only get 300 minutes a month on the phone,” Smith continued. “So if you’re on the phone for 30 minutes a day, after 10 days, you get no more phone for the next 20 days. Sometimes you run out of minutes within the first week, and then you’re just left talking to yourself.”

He says that if Diddy is moved to the general population, he will have to share “a few” tv’s with hundreds of inmates and that those are segregated by race.

“His wealth won’t help him in here, nothing at all.”
