Ludacris opened up about the time he won a Grammy and pop singer Justin Timberlake was mad about it.
In 2007, Luda took home the award for Best Rap Album for his Release Therapy project.
“I went backstage. At this time, they had all the artists separated by curtains, so muthaf-ckas weren’t in specific rooms. I say that to say I get back and I’m like, ‘Yeah! F-ck yeah! I made it! I did it! I won! I literally set out to get a Grammy and I got it. All of a sudden, I hear this voice from the other side of the curtain,” Luda said on Drink Champs.
He continued, “They yell, ‘Shut the f-ck up! Some of us didn’t win any goddamn Grammys today!’ I pull the curtain back and this n-gga Justin Timberlake is on the other side of that muthaf-cka.”
Justin Timberlake recently released his single, “Slefish” which surprisingly got a cosign from his famous ex, Britney Spears. In her memoir, Britney alleged the singer once pressure her into having an abortion.
