Low Ratings Drama Hits Bravo’s ‘The Valley: Persian Style’

A new Bravo series is already sparking debate online as viewers dissect its early ratings, but insiders say the full picture may take time to come into focus.

The Valley: Persian Style premiered with a two-part debut on Jan. 8 and drew fewer than 300,000 live viewers, along with a 0.04 rating among adults 18 to 49.

Still, live ratings may not tell the whole story. Bravo has yet to release streaming data from Peacock, where many viewers now catch up after air. Other recent Bravo launches have followed a similar pattern, posting modest same-day numbers before later revealing strong performance across platforms.

Timing may also have worked against the show. The premiere aired the same night Peacock dropped the latest season of The Traitors, which arrived with a multi-episode release that likely pulled viewers away.

Bravo’s Andy Cohen has previously cautioned against focusing solely on overnight ratings, calling them “a small piece of a much larger picture.”

For now, The Valley: Persian Style continues to roll out weekly episodes on Bravo, with streaming options available for viewers watching on their own schedule.

In other news, cast member MJ Javid’s estranged husband, Tommy Feight, recently spoke out about their split.

“Maybe one day we’ll come back to each other,” he said on a recent episode of From Till Dirt with MJ and Tommy. “But if we don’t, I know now that… All I’m worried about now is that Shams is gonna be all right, that this isn’t gonna have a long-term effect on him… He has two parents that love him very, very much and would do anything for him. That’s never gonna change. Nothing will ever be able to come between me and him. As long as I have that, I’ll have everything.”
