Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Marsau Scott was arrested Sunday morning in Huntsville, Alabama, and released less than three hours later, according to Madison County Sheriff’s Office inmate records.
Scott, 46, was booked at 7:31 am on June 28. Records list the charges as third-degree simple assault, harassment, and an alias writ arrest for a misdemeanor. He was released from custody before 10 am.
The booking records state that the Huntsville Police Department initiated the simple assault and harassment charges. The alias writ arrest lists the Madison County Sheriff’s Office as the arresting agency and carries a $600 bond.
Later that day, Scott appeared to nod to his changed plans on Instagram. The reality star shared a promotional graphic saying he had been “drafted” to take part in a celebrity basketball tournament on Sunday, then suggested he would not be playing after all.
“Everyone needs a little rest every now and then,” Scott wrote, adding “load management” to the post.
Scott was previously arrested in March 2025, which stemmed from an alias warrant tied to an aggressive speeding ticket. During that same span, Maurice Scott was arrested on a DUI charge, Destiny Payton was arrested on an identity theft charge, and Martell Holt was arrested on a domestic violence-harassing communications charge.
