‘Love Island USA’ Star Yulissa Escobar KICKED OFF the Show for Using the N-Word

Lyndon Abioye |

Just one day after the sizzling premiere hit Peacock, Islander Yulissa Escobar was forced to exit the villa after she reportedly used a racial slur.

Her shock departure was casually dropped around the 17-minute mark of Wednesday night’s episode, with the show’s narrator, Iain Stirling, announcing, “Yulissa has left the villa.”

Producers did not explain why Yulissa was booted from the show, but a resurfaced clip has been circulating online, allegedly showing Yulissa casually using the n-word multiple times during an old podcast appearance.

Yulissa has not made a public statement since her exit, but viewers have applauded the network for acting so swiftly.

Love Island USA has officially cemented its place as a summer obsession. The American spin-off of the wildly popular U.K. dating show.
