Love Island USA’s Hannah Smith has apologized following her dramatic arrest for allegedly making terroristic threats.
The reality TV star was at a concert venue in Atlanta last month when she was escorted out of the venue for disorderly conduct.
Hannah reportedly tried to physically assault the officer. She is alleged to have yelled “I am going to kill you and your sister.”
Then things turned racial.
“B-tch. I can’t wait to kill you, you dumbass, ugly b-tch ’cause you’re f-cking fat, and they love us skinny b-tches ’cause you’re f-cking Black, and I hate Black b-tches so I can’t wait to kill you and your sister, you dumbass b-tch.”
“While in handcuffs, she also attempted to kick me multiple times,” the officer reported. “Said accused did threaten to commit a crime of violence. While [Smith] was being transported to Cobb County Adult Detention Center, she stated she was going to kill me and my sister multiple times with the purpose of terrorizing said victim.”
Hannah was charged with two felonies including terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
Hannah posted an apology on her Instagram Stories.
“I understand the impact and severity of my actions and words, and I am deeply sorry,” she wrote.
“I take responsibility for my actions and I apologize to all of those that were affected by my behavior, especially to the officer and the Black community, whom I insulted and disrespected. This experience has been incredibly humbling and challenging because I simply have no recollection of that night. This is out of my character and I would truly never say things of that nature to hurt anyone,” she added.
