Love Is Blind viewers were left shocked this week after Monica Davis revealed she discovered sexts between her fiance Stephen Richardson and a mystery woman.

“So Stephen and I were hanging out in the apartment, having a great, great time laughing,” she recalled, adding that Stephen “stepped into the bathroom and as he did, his phone went off, and he got a text that we were waiting for.”

Monica said that after checking the text, she noticed another text from a woman in his phone and when she opened the message, she was stunned.

Stephen copped to the sexting and packed his bags, and left the show after being confronted by Monica.

“Even right after it all went down, I didn’t even remember the girl’s name,” she shared. “Truly, I do remember seeing, like, really kinky, dirty talk, like one specific message was just talking about how he’s never been been able to find someone who’s satisfies his kinks, the way that she does.”

Monica added, “I’m not kink-shaming. I’ve been accused of kink-shaming already. I just didn’t know that this was the person I was, you know, that I was sharing a bed with.”

Before Stephen left, viewers watched as Monica demanded that Stephen Venmo her the money she’d spent on him during their time together, which he did.

Stephen did apologize to Monica but later joked about the incident in a statement to PEOPLE.

“It is probably smart to put a password on your phone.” He then added, “But in all seriousness, the main things are self-talk, self-reflection, and a lot of the things that I believe I said it in the pods, where it’s like you don’t know if you’re fully healed until your next relationship,” he continues. “And you see a lot of people talking about, ‘Well, you should have completed therapy before you entered this.’ And I’m always like, ‘Is therapy a completion? Do you complete therapy?’ No, it should be an ongoing thing because you’re always growing and learning.”
