On Wednesday, Love is Blind watched as Ramses Prashad left his fiancee, Marissa George, curled up in a ball, weeping after he dumped her out of the blue.
At the time, Ramses claimed that Marissa’s energy was too much for him and that he did not want to walk down the aisle with her.
Viewers were upset for Marissa but also relieved, as they were grossed out after an episode in which he appeared to be giving her a hard time for not wanting to be intimate with him even though she was ill.
This week, Marissa shocked fans by revealing that she tried to get back with him months after the breakup, but he rejected her.
“We saw each other a few times after [we broke up]. I took the breakup really hard, as you can imagine from the scene of me crying and stuff,” Marissa told Glamour. “It took me probably six months to get back on track and to really start to move on.”
Marissa said that she saw him a few times when she was in D.C. and that one time, after talking for eight or nine hours on the phone, she thought they were going to reconcile but that he turned her down.
“I offered to not get married. We can stay engaged, or we can do everything on our own timeline. We don’t have to move in immediately. That was never the plan anyway,” she went on, but according to Marissa, it was a “hard no” from Ramses.
Love Is Blind reunion drops on Netflix on Wednesday, October 30, at 9 p.m. ET.
