In a surprising twist, Daeshon, the ex-wife of Love Is Blind star Tyler Francis’ children’s mother, Bri Thomas, is now telling her side of this very complex story.
As viewers of season 7 of the show will know, Tyler waited weeks before he revealed to his fiancee that he had fathered three children.
Tyler claimed he had only donated his sp*rm and was not involved in their lives, which was proven to be a lie…but Daeshon has a different version of the story altogether.
“When we were friends [with him], he showed us his tax returns. [He was] making over six figures. And when the babies came, [Bri] would call me upset, [saying], ‘I asked Tyler for formula, he won’t give it to me,’ and all he has is 50 dollars and ‘that’s not going to do anything.’ So this has been an issue from the beginning,” she said on Jessie Woo’s livestream. “Yes, there’s pictures [of Tyler with the kids], but she’d still call me and say, ‘Tyler is an Instagram dad. He only comes around when there’s a photo opp.’”
She had suggested using a turkey baster but her then-wife wanted to conceive naturally. Daeshon says that Bri went behind her back and slept with Tyler to conceive their first child.
Daeshon also alleged that Bri was physically abusive which led to the breakdown of their marriage. She says that even after they split, Bri complained about Tyler’s involvement and says he did not pay her child support.
Bri already confessed in her own video that their twins were conceived naturally as she was in a romantic relationship with the Netflix contestant.
They had broken up but Bri says she knew about Tyler being on the show and supported him…until he “disrespected” their children.
She says these days, he’s a deadbeat.
“Tyler hasn’t spoken to or seen the kids since September 30, 2023,” Bri shared. “That was the day before he left for this show. And that’s why I’m so beyond hurt and angry with him about all of this.”
