‘Love Is Blind’ Cast Member Says S*xual Assault Allegations Are “False”

A cast member from the Ohio-based season of Love Is Blind is taking legal action after sexual assault allegations made against him spread widely online.

Steven Sunday has filed a defamation lawsuit against Columbus resident Elisha Watts, alleging that she made false public statements that have damaged his reputation and livelihood. The lawsuit comes after Watts posted a TikTok last month in which she identified Sunday by name and said he sexually assaulted her. The video has since been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

According to court documents, Sunday and Watts met through a dating app and later spent time together at her apartment in May 2025. Sunday alleges the encounter was consensual and that Watts agreed to it being recorded. He claims he left shortly afterward and had no further contact with her.

The filing states that Watts acknowledged online that she did not report the alleged incident to police. Authorities in both Columbus and Reynoldsburg confirmed there are no reports for Sunday.

Sunday says the allegations had immediate consequences. He was placed on paid leave from his finance job, and because his income is commission-based, he claims he has been unable to earn money. The lawsuit also notes that a cease-and-desist letter was sent earlier this month, but additional posts remained online.

Sunday is seeking damages for defamation and emotional distress. A first court hearing is scheduled later this month.
