The new season of the We TV “Love After Lockup” spinoff series features couples known as “non-cons” who fall in love with people serving prison sentences.
LaTisha and Keith are two of the most prominent characters this season. LaTisha, a divorcée and mom of two, shocked her friends and employees when they discovered she was dating Keith.
Well now she’s got bigger problems, Media Take Out has learned.
According to court documents, first published by Starcasm, LaTisha has been renting a 4,082-square-foot, four bedroom, four bath house in Davenport, Iowa – which was featured on Love During Lockup.
Well, Media Take Out learned that LaTisha’s landlord recently served here with eviction papers – claiming that LaTisha owed $13,239.00 in unpaid rent, and other fees.
After 30 days of no response, LaTisha’s landlord filed an Original Notice and Petition for Forcible Entry and Detainer (aka eviction notice). The filing states the reason for the Notice is “failure to pay rent for current month and carrying balance of unpaid rents in violation of lease agreement.”
There’s a hearing date set for September 1, 2023, and if she doesn’t fix things with her landlord – she’ll be put out on the streets.
