Rapper Logic revealed that he has signed his father to his own record label, Bobby Boy Records.
“Dad I want to make sure that you’re safe,” Logic told his father onstage, at a recent show. “And we make this album, that you are protected, and you have the greatest lawyers in the f-cking business, and I want to sign my father at 69-years-old to Bobby Boy Records right now. And give him what he always wanted.”
His dad responded, “I love this boy. I knew he was going to be a star… when he came out of my balls, n-gga!”
Logic has previously complained that his father always asked him for money or luxury items whenever they communicated.
“Last time when I was talking to my dad, he asked me for a million dollars. F-ck no I didn’t give it to him. He said: ‘I want a million dollars.’ I said: ‘For what?’ He said: ‘For my band so that we can buy a house and make music in it.’ I’m like, ‘What?’ So I ask him once we get back together: ‘Please don’t ask me for money. Can we just f-cking throw catch or some sh-t?’ And he’s like, ‘Alright! Alright,'” he said.
