LL Cool J has spoken out to address Yung Miami recently trolling Joe Budden’s hit son “Pump It Up” gold plaque more than 20 years after the song’s release.
The song has now achieved 500,000 sales in the U.S.
“I mean, what can you say? Some people never go gold,” he told TMZ, who asked him about the exchange.
City Girls have disbanded and Yung Miami’s solo efforts are failing to make a splash unlike former group member JT whose solo journey has been applauded by her peers.
Budden reacted to Yung Miami’s tweets by calling her the worst female rapper out.
“I want to keep this professional and on the music. If Complex were to do a list of where all the female rappers rat, Caresha, you would be last on the list. You would be drop dead last on that list. Every female out there is wiping you down right now,” Budden said on his podcast. “Caresha, may you not only be dropped from your label right now, but you are not allowed to put music out. There is nothing happening.”
