Lisa Vanderpump has finally broken her silence on James Kennedy’s domestic violence arrest last year.
“I have spoken to James and to Ally at great length. [I’d never] drop the ball on somebody that I’ve supported and has had a troubled time” she said, referring to Bravo’s announcement that Vanderpump Rules is going to be recast.
Kennedy was arrested after Burbank police officers received a call about an argument. A verbal altercation between the former couple turned physical after Kennedy grabbed her. Ally Lewber, his then-girlfriend, announced that she had ended their relationship.
“Thank you for all your support and kindness,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories at the time. “I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James as I never desired criminal charges. We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”
LVP says she will always care about James.
“A lot of people [say] it’s none of your business anymore, they’re not on [Vanderpump Rules],” she shared. “But it is my business, because I brought him to the forefront. I’ve always cared very much,” LVP added.
