Lisa Vanderpump has opened up about her relationship with former Vanderpump Rules star James Kennedy and says that she no longer supports him following his domestic violence incident.
Kennedy was arrested in Burbank, California, in December on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence following an alleged altercation with a woman at his residence. He was released after posting $20,000 bail, and the case is under review by the Burbank City Attorney’s Office.
The woman was later revealed to be his then-girlfriend, Ally Lewber.
“He’s been in the headlines. I’ve had so much patience with him. I was so happy to see him with Ally and doing so well. I know it’s a disease, but at some point, you’ve got to say, “I cannot support this anymore” with some people when they keep making the same mistakes,” she told US Weekly.
Kennedy’s ex-fiancée, Rachel Leviss, had previously filed a lawsuit in February 2024 alleging a history of verbal and physical abuse during their relationship, which Leviss says was covered up by producers and LVP.
LVP says that Kennedy reached out to her after the incident with Ally Lewber, but that she insisted on speaking to his ex first to make sure she was okay.
