Lisa Rinna Throws Shade at Spencer Pratt’s L.A. Mayor Dreams!

Lisa Rinna has love for Spencer Pratt, but she is not sold on him as Los Angeles’ next mayor.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was asked about the city’s race while attending the American Music Awards on Monday, May 25. After pausing over the question, Rinna, 62, made it clear she was still weighing the field. “That is a good question,” she told Variety.

When the reporter mentioned Pratt, Rinna carefully responded, “I am gonna say I don’t know yet. Not a reality star, though. I’m sorry. I love him, but we’ve already done that, we’re not going to do that again,” she said.

Rinna also acknowledged that Pratt’s does have some support around him. “He could be, I mean … he’s got power behind him, it seems, but I don’t know,” she said.

The actress, who spent years on reality television herself, said that was exactly why she understood the concern. “Listen, I’m a reality person,” Rinna said. “You wouldn’t want me as mayor, really.”

Pratt, 42, entered the race as an independent after his Pacific Palisades home was destroyed in the wildfire.

Since then, he has criticized Mayor Karen Bass and Councilwoman Nithya Raman, released campaign videos from the site of his former home, and raised more than $539,000 since January, topping Bass’ reported haul during the same period.
