A messy split between Lisa Hochstein and Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein has taken another messy turn.
More than a year after their divorce fight made headlines, Lisa and her former partner, Jody Glidden, have now been charged in connection with allegations that Lenny’s conversations were secretly monitored.
Court documents allege Lisa and Glidden violated Florida law by intercepting private communications in March 2023, shortly after Lisa and Lenny’s split became increasingly hostile. Authorities claim the recordings involved conversations between Lenny and others connected to the divorce case.
Glidden was briefly taken into custody in Miami Beach last month, and now attorneys for Lisa and Glidden are denying wrongdoing and insist the situation belongs in family court, not criminal court.
“This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court,” they said.
Lenny previously accused Lisa of planting a listening device in his car to hear calls related to the divorce. He argued at the time that the alleged recordings affected the fairness of the legal proceedings. Lisa publicly denied the allegations back in 2023, saying they were “nonsense.”
Lisa and Lenny finalized their divorce in late 2024 after 12 years of marriage. The former spouses, who share a son, Logan, and a daughter, Elle, spent years battling in court before reaching a final settlement.
Lisa later moved on with Glidden, though the pair quietly broke up earlier this year.
