Lil Yachty’s former artist, Karrahboo, has claimed that the rapper uses ghostwriters weeks after he alleged that he had penned all of her rhymes.
Karrahboo appeared as a guest on DDG’s No Ordinary Podcast and accused Boat of having a “team” of writers for the album he dropped last year, Let’s Start Here.
“You know what’s crazy? Boat used writers for Let’s Start Here,” she told DDG and his cohost. “He had a whole team of writers. Like, what are you doing, bro?”
The beef between the former friends kicked off after Karrahbooo accused Yachty and his crew of bullying her during her time on his label. He denied her claims and said it was she who bullied the team.
Lil Yachty’s pen game is heavily respected in the music industry after it was revealed that he penned one of the City Girls’ biggest hits, “Act Up.”
“When it came out, people was so shocked and they didn’t believe it,” he said at the time. “I wrote the whole song, except for J.T.’s last verse. But everything that everyone is singing, I wrote the whole thing.”
