Lil Yachty admitted that he was behind the “Super Soak” leak last week.
The Drake collab was played on Kai Cenat’s livestream and sparked a response from Soulja Boy as many believed the song was a diss aimed at him.
“I sent a song to Kai to leak,” Yachty says in the clip. “We couldn’t get the sample cleared so I just let Kai play it.”
Yachty also shared that the song will not be released as Mr. Hotspot won’t give them clearance.
“No, but it’s everywhere,” Yachty said. “He went down like a Christian path…it was crazy, everyone was like, ‘Are you serious?'” Yachty added.
This week, Soulja said he spoke to Drake who denied dissing him on the song.
“I got to the bottom of that and I hollered at Drake and them, and it wasn’t no diss,” he told TMZ. “That song was a snippet, that was a leak. That song wasn’t even supposed to come out. That’s Lil Yachty song, but shout out to the boy Drake.”
