Lil Woody Admits To Lying To The Cops About Young Thug

Lyndon Abioye |

Lil Woody testified in court at Young Thug’s trial this week and confessed on the stand that he lied to the Atlanta police to get them off his back.

“The police kept locking me up for whatever they could. Every time I came out the door, the police [were on me], and they kept bringing up Thug’s name. So, what I did was to get them off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that.’ I know he didn’t do it, and in my mind, I knew that the police would never go mess with him,” he said after telling the court that he was tired of the cops “bothering” him.

Woody continued, “It was easy for me to try to throw the blame off on him to try to get them off of me. That’s what I was doing [for] all these years.”

Woody says he has family to protect and lied to protect them and keep himself out of isolation.

In the viral police interrogation, which lasted 41 minutes, Woody offers to tell the cops the alleged perpetrators of the RICO crimes…but now Woddy says it was all a lie and that he was not being truthful at all.
