Rapper Lil Tjay was released on a $90,000 bond after being arrested on illegal weapon charges earlier this week.

Lil Tjay was arrested yesterday during a traffic stop in the Bronx. According to reports, the rapper was traveling in a black Cadillac Escalade with four other men in the vehicle. The cops reportedly recovered four handguns. He was on his way to a video shoot with Ice Spice and the vehicle was flagged because of its tinted windows and a missing front license plate.

The rapper is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony.

Months back, Lil Tjay was in trouble with the cops after allegedly being the victim of an attempted robbery.

Mohamed Konate, 27, was charged in the shooting and accused of attempting to rob Tjay and the rapper’s friends Jeffery Valdez and Antoine Boy. Tjay sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and neck. Konate was charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of armed robbery and various other unlawful weapons charges.
